The VWR DS-500 Orbital Shaker is a microprocessor-controlled variable speed shaker. The system has digital LED controls, allowing users to toggle between speed and time. The VWR Shaker can be set between 25 to 500 rpm and maintain an accuracy of plus or minus 2 rpm. The VWR DS-500 Digital Shaker has a ¾ in circular orbit, which can be programmed to run up to 99.99 minutes or just left on a continuous run.
The VWR DS-500 Orbital Shaker is constructed of top-quality materials to withstand the day-to-day vigorous lab operations, such as a chemically resistant hardened enamel finish that resists damage. The motor of this orbital shaker has circuitry to prevent overload. The top is a 10 12 in a rubber matted platform to ensure items don’t move in the process of rotating. The DS-500 Platform Shaker has a reproducible motion with even distribution and a counter-balanced eccentric drive mechanism. Included with the orbital shaker is an adjustable platform that can hold a number of flasks or beakers of varying sizes.
