The VWR VistaVision 82026-638 is a professional upright epifluorescence microscope designed for fluorescence and transmitted-light microscopy applications in biological, clinical, research, and life science laboratories.
This system features a trinocular Siedentopf viewing head, mechanical stage, Abbe condenser, five-position revolving nosepiece, transmitted halogen illumination, and a dedicated epi-fluorescence illumination system.
The microscope incorporates two independent illumination systems. Standard transmitted-light observation is provided by an integrated 6V/20W halogen lamp, while fluorescence applications utilize a 100W mercury lamp system powered by the included external PS-2 100W/DC power supply.
The fluorescence configuration supports blue and green fluorescence through the Blue/Green Dual Band filter system. An orange protective shield is installed above the stage for operator protection during fluorescence observation.
This unit includes three installed objectives, including a specialized FL 40X/1.25 glycerin-immersion fluorescence objective.
