This unit comes from a laboratory that upgraded their plate reader and no longer needed this unit. The Tecan plate reader was serviced prior to acquisition. This plate reader was tested and thoroughly cleaned. The computer is not included but the plate reader can run on the free software from Tecan called iControl on a Windows based computer with Excel.
The Tecan Infinite F200 Microplate Reader is a modular single-mode plate reader, that uses a filter slide system to offer a cost-efficient and modular solution to everyday plate fluorescent spectrophotometry applications. This flexible filter-based plate reader is modular to offers you a high level of customization, by adding additional filters or modules. The filter slide features an excitation side and an emission side, each with 4 positions.
Users can easily access filters, swapping them in and out of the filter slide to suit their needs. This microplate reader has a wavelength range of 230-850nm (filter dependent) and is set up with the following options installed:
30050156 Option Filter FI Top - used for fluorescence intensity measurements
30015905 Option Filter Polarisation - used to conduct fluorescence polarization assays
30015896 Option PMT Standard - PMT is a photo-multiplier tube
The modular design of this microplate reader allows users to customize their machines to suit their needs, while the robust Gen 5 software (not included) helps analyze data collected, create standardization curves, and print out findings. Applications and assays that can include DNA/RNA quantifications, protein quantifications, calcium ion detection, cell viability, toxicity assays, and many more.
