The OHAUS VX32XW5000L VX Series Floor Scale is a heavy-duty industrial weighing system featuring a 4 × 4 ft diamond-plate platform, a maximum capacity of 5,000 lb, and readability of 1 lb.

This unit is in exceptionally clean condition and shows little to no visible evidence of previous use. The included OHAUS Defender 3000 T32XW digital indicator was sealed before being opened for inspection and functional testing.

The scale was connected to the indicator, powered on, and tested with an applied load. The display registered 72 lb, as documented in the photographs. This confirms basic power, display operation, platform response, and communication between the scale and indicator.

The T32XW features a washdown-resistant stainless-steel enclosure, backlit LCD, weighing and parts-counting modes, tare functionality, multiple weighing units, and an RS-232 communication interface.

This system is designed for industrial weighing applications in manufacturing, processing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, freight handling, and other facilities requiring a durable low-profile platform.

Testing throughout the complete 5,000 lb capacity was not performed. Current calibration and full-range accuracy have not been independently verified.

Condition

Excellent pre-owned condition with little to no visible evidence of previous use.

The floor-scale platform is exceptionally clean. The diamond-plate surface, frame, electrical connections, leveling feet, and identification labels appear intact.

The Defender 3000 T32XW indicator was sealed before being opened for inspection and testing. Protective film remains visible on the front panel.

The assembled system powered on properly and registered an applied 72 lb load, as shown in the photographs. This basic functional test confirms power, display operation, platform response, and communication with the indicator.

The scale was not tested throughout its full 5,000 lb capacity. Current calibration, full-range accuracy, and current Legal-for-Trade certification status have not been independently verified. Professional inspection and calibration are recommended before commercial, regulated, or quantitative use.
