Nikon Diaphot TMD Inverted Phase Contrast Microscope with ELWD 0.3 Condenser
The Nikon Diaphot TMD is a professional inverted research microscope designed for observation of living cells, tissue cultures, transparent specimens, and other biological samples in culture dishes, flasks, and similar vessels.
This system is configured for phase contrast microscopy and features a Nikon Phase Contrast-2 ELWD 0.3 condenser with PhL, Ph1, Ph2, and Ph3 positions. The Extra Long Working Distance design provides additional clearance for observation through laboratory culture vessels while maintaining phase contrast capability.
The inverted optical configuration keeps the specimen stage stationary while focusing is performed through movement of the objective nosepiece, providing convenient access to specimens during observation and manipulation.
This microscope is equipped with a large mechanical X-Y stage, Nikon CFWN 10X/20 widefield eyepieces, multiple Nikon CF series objectives, and integrated transmitted-light illumination with NCB and GIF filter positions.
The microscope was tested and verified to operate properly.
