MVE Vapor Shippers are designed for the safe transportation of biological samples at cryogenic (-150°C or colder) temperatures.
This CryoShipper was procured from a local Pharmaceutical company when it no longer had a need for cryo shipping. It is in good condition and comes with the protective shipping container.
Manufactured from durable, lightweight aluminum, the MVE CryoShipper Vapor Series employs a hydrophobic compound which absorbs the liquid nitrogen to ensure dry, spill-free vapor-phase shipping. These containers may be used to ship your samples with a “non-hazardous” classification throughout the world, thus reducing costs and helping to assure sample viability.
These dewars are safe for transporting biological samples such as sperm or eggs. The samples go into a removable canister (not included) that sits inside the nitrogen tank at -150°C or colder and allow for transportation. Once the shipper has been “charged” with liquid nitrogen, the expected holding time is 10 days.
