LI-COR Odyssey CLx Model 9140 Infrared Imaging System
The LI-COR Odyssey CLx Model 9140 is a dual-channel near-infrared fluorescence imaging system designed for quantitative Western blot analysis and other fluorescence-based laboratory applications.
This unit, S/N CLX-1715, was professionally evaluated and serviced by LabCycle Partners. During the initial assessment, the DDSP detector-acquisition board failed to enumerate on the instrument’s internal PCI bus. The board and associated connectors were inspected and securely reseated, restoring normal communication and acquisition operation without requiring replacement parts.
Following service, the instrument successfully completed a two-channel preview acquisition using LI-COR Image Studio software. The scan head homed and rastered, both the 700 nm and 800 nm channels were exercised, and the detector chain returned a complete image.
This testing verifies fundamental motion, laser excitation, detection, and imaging operation. Calibration and validation using a LI-COR Verification Plate were not performed.

The instrument was serviced after its DDSP detector-acquisition board failed to enumerate during startup. The board and its connections were inspected and reseated, resolving the fault without requiring replacement parts.
Following service, the instrument successfully completed a two-channel preview acquisition using LI-COR Image Studio software. The scan head homed and rastered, both channels were exercised, and the detector chain returned a complete image.
Calibration, quantitative performance validation, and testing with a LI-COR Verification Plate were not performed. Calibration status is unknown. Professional verification is recommended before use in calibrated, validated, or regulated workflows.
Please review all photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition and configuration.
