The GE / Amersham Pharmacia Biotech ÄKTA Explorer 100 is a complete automated FPLC chromatography system designed for protein purification, biomolecule separation, method development, and process development applications.
This highly complete configuration includes the P-900 system pump, UV-900 monitor, pH/C-900 monitor, P-960 sample pump, M-925 mixer, automated fluidic valves, and GE Frac-920 fraction collector, along with a dedicated Dell OptiPlex computer workstation running UNICORN chromatography software.
The system powers on and is shown communicating with the included workstation and UNICORN software. Its combination of automated fluidics, sample loading, UV detection, conductivity and pH monitoring, gradient control, and automated fraction collection provides a versatile platform for a wide range of protein and biomolecule purification workflows.
