These Euthanex lids and CO2 flow meter came from a lab that was downsizing and no longer needed the items. They are in excellent condition, have been tested and operate to manufacturer’s specifications. All items have been thoroughly cleaned.

In the 1980s, Euthanex revolutionized the humane animal euthanasia process through the use of CO2 with our patented Euthanex Lid System.
Euthanex lids allow animals to be gently euthanized through the precise control of gas introduction. The animals remain in their home cages, thereby minimizing added stress. The lid system is highly economical and efficient and still widely used today.
Our lids are constructed of heavy-duty, stainless steel. They include an easy, quick disconnect lid stem for gas input as well as a foam gasket for a secure fit.
The foam gasket seal allows the lids to be used with smaller cage sizes.
This Euthanex system includes a 2-25LPM CO2 flowmeter and two lids.
The Super Small E-20027 (13” × 9.5”) lid suitable for mouse shoe box cages.
A brand new E-20032 Medium lid (20.5” × 11”) suitable for standard rat cages and smaller cages such as the newer style mouse cages.
