Edwards 8 - RV8 Rotary Vane Dual Stage Mechanical Vacuum Pump A65401906 - 110 volt
This vacuum pump was procured from a west coast biotech facility that was closing down. This unit is in like new condition, has been tested and operates to manufacturer’s specifications.
This unit has optional mode selector and gas ballast control. Mode selector allows the user to change between high vacuum and high throughput modes. Gas Ballast control allows the unit to pump high vapour loads. Gas-ballast is delivered into the pump to prevent condensation of the vapour carried by the pumped gases.
Air can be introduced to the low vacuum stage through the gas-ballast valve. Alternatively, an inert gas such as nitrogen can be supplied through a suitable external valve.
This pump also comes with mist filter, output centering ring, flange clamp, and barbed hose flange adapter (not shown in photos).
