Beckman Coulter Biomek NXP Multichannel Liquid Handler – For Parts or Repair

$2,800.00

The Beckman Coulter Biomek NXP is an automated liquid-handling workstation configured with a 96 Mandrel 200 µL multichannel head.

This system includes its original control computer, licensed Biomek Software 4.1 installation, monitor, Device Controller, Tip Loader, AccuFrame tool, deck ALPs, cabling and laboratory accessories.

The unit powers on, passes its power-on self-test and establishes live serial communication with its original control computer. The software correctly identifies chassis serial number A318410874 and electronically recognizes the installed 96-channel pod and head serial number 6315.

The workstation does not complete its homing routine because the Y-axis home sensor is missing. The Y axis moves under power but travels to the mechanical end stop and generates a servo over-temperature fault. Testing was stopped to prevent damage. The grabber arm/gripper assembly is also missing.

The system is offered as-is for parts, repair or refurbishment. Do not attempt another homing cycle before installing and verifying the correct Y-axis home sensor.

The following functions were verified:

  • Power-on self-test passed

  • Serial communication with the original control PC passed

  • Chassis serial-number identification passed

  • Electronic enumeration of the 96-channel pod passed

The grabber arm/gripper assembly is also missing.

Pipetting accuracy, tip loading, wash-station operation, Device Controller operation, Tip Loader operation, light-curtain function, axis calibration, deck framing and extended operation were not tested.
